George Sparacino - Rhythm Guitar & Vocals
"George is the guy that grounds us. He epitomizes the stance that ‘camaraderie first’ makes a band great. He simply treats people better than he would expect to be treated himself, and is a true friend. That makes him beyond special.” -Danielle Burnett.
As early as five years old, George was unique. “I was the only kid on my block that dug B.B. King more than the Howdy Doody Show ".. "I was always playing my mothers' 45's .. she had a great collection of 50's Rock & Roll.."
At the age of 13, George learned to play guitar and sing. He later learned to write music and has scribed a countless number of ditties on a forest-load of paper.. "there's a HIT in here somewhere!"
In the mid-70’s, George collaborated with, Kevin Welch, Mike Prialaga and Brian Maes, where he played bass guitar for Syris Fields, a popular cover band from Saugus, MA.
In 1977, George traded-in his gear for an old beat-up dodge dart, engagement ring, and tuition bills. For the next 20 years, "College, jobs, marriage & parenthood pretty much took up all my time. But, as busy as I was, I still missed the music scene. " In 1997, I called Mike and Kevin to start RAZEN KAYNE .. we've been doing it ever since."
George can also be seen sitting-in with Marybeth Maes and other acts in and around New England.
