Danielle Burnett is described by her friends and colleagues as manic, hyper, loving, bitchy, demented and never dull! Raised in a loving family of "Back-Yard Singers" she was a dedicated member of every school choir that she could get into (or in the case of college, not get kicked out of) and credits her High School and College's various theater and opera programs ("Support the Arts, People!") with improving her stage presence, curing a childhood stutter and intense stage fright, as well as hiding an extremely thick "Medford accent," which often surfaces however, when she's tired or near her folks.
A degree at UMASS Lowell's Music Business Program (Yes, it's a real degree) is mentioned, just to say, "I met my husband (Love you, babe,) many great teachers and friends and learned a lot FROM THEM about music. For that I'm extremely grateful. But I still want my money back..."
Danielle has performed with several bands, most notably RAZEN KAYNE and as the lead female singer (along with Kevin Welch on drums) in Barrelhouse, a North Shore based a six-piece Rhythm and Blues ensemble. She has close ties with the Burlington Players Community Theater Co. and accomplished a childhood Dream in 2001 when she sang with Kenny Rogers at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium (as the member of a back-up choir, but really, who cares...It's Kenny!) Describing her RAZEN KAYNE guys as "having five boyfriends... or older brothers, depending on the day",
Danielle's vocal influence and favorite style of music is "All of it." Likened to Melissa Etheridge and Susan Tedeschi, Danielle prefers to just sound like herself.
